In the last few weeks, we've managed to source 55x N95 respirator masks for donation to NHS frontline staff and we've also put together a care package with some of our creams and oils to help with skin damage resulting from frequent hand washing and glove wear.
Unlike surgical masks worn by nurses, police and dentists, N95 masks are protective devices that fit closely around the face and filter up to 95% of airborne particles, meaning that they are much more effective at protecting people from respiratory illnesses resulting from COVID-19.
The masks and products are due to go to Colchester General Hospital where we hope that they will be put to good use in the fight against COVID-19 coronavirus, especially doctors, nurses and staff members.
Whilst this might be a small donation, we believe that every little helps, because the sooner we can defeat COVID-19, the sooner we can return to normal.

Update 16th April 2020:
Creams and masks received and well received. It seems to be a good fit.
Update 3rd May 2020:
As a nurse working on the Covid ward in Colchester General Hospital, I was so pleased and reassured to be wearing one of the donated N95 masks from your company. I have to wear the masks constantly for my 12 hour shift so I was so grateful for the extra protection as were my colleagues on the ward. With the constant hand washing our hands get so dry and sore- we all were so pleased with the SootheSkin cream and oil which quickly hydrated and calmed the redness on our hands and arms. Some staff used the oil on their faces and remarked how wonderful it was.
I would like to say a huge thank you from all the staff. We will be forever grateful for your kind and thoughtful donation.
